Dear collegues and friends, dear persons interested in EPH-Gestosis (also called Pre-Eclampsia)

Three main factors concern this fight for a better life for mothers and their babies.
1. EPH Gestosis is not a disease but a syndrome. It can be prevented by adequate and simple measures.
2. The many reasons for its appearance can be found by careful post partal investigations after all changes of pregnancy have disappeared, i.e. 2 to 3 months after delivery.
3. EPH-Gestosis indicates that the organ systems of the patient might be borderline sufficient.
    Those patients show more frequently in later years, perhaps 20 or 30 years later diseases like renal insufficiency, hypertension, liver affections, Diabetes, CVA. If we accept EPH-Gestosis as a warning sign for later suffering we are able to pick them up early and treat them
successfully.
